            Positive Early Learning Environment

            Teaching the Ojibwe and D/Lakota Languages


            Children's House: Montessori American Indian Childcare Center in St. Paul, MN is an indigenized early learning Montessori environment for children ages 3 to 6. Our preschool also provides opportunities for children to study the Ojibwe and D/Lakota language.             Our Programs

            Prenatal to Three Family Nest Program: Supports American Indian families in their prenatal period and children up to 3 years old. Shares information with parents on child development, Montessori education, and indigenous parenting. Families have access to developmentally appropriate Montessori and Indigenous materials and individual support for child development and parent concerns.             Economic Mobility Hub: Staff serve families holistically and partner with them to provide support and access to resources that address their immediate needs. Families may qualify to work with a Family Coach to set attainable short-term and long-term goals.
